Weekend in Provo

We spent the last weekend in Provo with Ryan's family!! It was so much fun. Grandpa Hess took the girls to the Disney store and they thought they had died and gone to heaven. Brin got a couple of Barbies and clothing items for them and Bay chose a Hannah Montana notebook and microphone. Then we took them to Build A Bear which is always exciting. The boys cooked dinner that night for us at Aaron's house and we just hung out and played Rock Band and Wii. Grandma almost took Tracey and Grandpa out a couple of times as you can tell in the one picture Keven is guarding himself with pillows. We had a lot fun! We wish we could have spent a little more time together but we will take what we can get. Tracey brought us all gifts back from Africa which was really fun. She brought me some scrapbook pages from Africa which was really neat. So thanks to my wonderful In-laws!!! We love you so much and can't wait to see you again!

Our Little Scare

We had a little scare yesterday. Brinley has been sick over the weekend with a fever. Monday night she said that her neck hurt really bad. She walked around like she had slept on it wrong. Well Tuesday afternoon Ryan lifted her hair up to look at it and she had a lump on the side of her neck. So we ran her up to Insta Care and she has strep throat. Then they sent us to a ear, nose, and throat specialist and she has tonsillitis and her lymph nodes are swollen. He says it is very common with kids who have strep. So they put her on steroids and an antibiotic and she has to go back on Monday to make sure the lump is getting smaller. He says a lot of the times they get abcess's on them and then they have to make an incision on the neck and go in and drain them out but he hopes we caught it soon enough that it will just get better. I am sure everything will be fine and we are praying for the best.
