The Stats are in.........

Braxton had his two week check up today and he is doing fine minus a few minor problems. He has yeast infection and has not figured out how to poop yet. I was worried because he would scream so hard and his face would go bright red but when he finally was productive it was not hard or anything so I could not figure it out. So come to find out it is normal for babies because they squeeze their bum together and tense up instead of lettin' it out. The doc says he will start to figure it out soon so not to worry. So other than that he is doing great and is still as cute as ever. Here are his official results:

Weight: 8# 14 oz. 53%
Height: 21 1/4 in. 71%
Head circ: 14 1/2 in. 44%


So he is definitely growing and will probably be a chunk before we know it. The nurses go on and on about his hair and they have all said he has big feet. Hopefully that means he is going to be an athlete!!!

Straight from Heaven!

Well I have been very humbled having this new handsome young man in my life. I forgot how precious babies are. I never thought I could love anything or anyone more than I do this baby. I know I have said this a thousand times but he is such a blessing to us. He already is such a good baby and can always bring a smile to our faces. The girls are just in heaven and always say they have the cutest brother in the world. It is so fun to watch Ryan with him. He is very proud and is already such a great dad to him and an amazing husband!! He always is asking what he can do to help and doing everything he can to help when he is home. He even gets up in the middle of the night with him. I am so grateful for him and all his help. I am used to doing everything on my own and it is so nice to have someone there to help and support me. The first 4-5 days were a little rough. We did not sleep at all Wednesday night, a little bit Thursday night, and Braxton was up all night Friday so needless to say by Saturday we were pretty frazzled!!! We were both pretty overwhelmed. Thankfully the next two nights he slept really well. I am so grateful that my mom was here all week to help me because I needed her company. I thought once Braxton was here I would be a little better about being away from home but I have now decided it is worse. It is so hard for me to be away from my fam and all my friends!! I miss everyone so much and wish they could see Braxton!! My husband said he is sorry that I am so sad but he is not moving back to Logan to make me happy. I know this is where we need to be but it is really hard for me to accept that right now. I guess I need to fix my attitude and make the most of it. But I know that Braxton is here for a reason and everything worked out for that same reason so I could not be more grateful for that. We love you Braxton!!!!!

Our Special Delivery!

Braxton Ryan Hess

Our special little bundle arrived on March 12, 2009 at 9:58 a.m. He was 8 pounds 8 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. He is a healthy and happy baby! He has dark curly hair which I just love. He was bound to have curly hair given his parents background. He is been such a blessing already and we love him more than anything. He has two big sisters who just can't get enough of him. Needless to say he is a very loved little boy. He is still trying to figure out his nights and days but he is getting better. He has a very proud daddy!

Baby Magic Hunt

Alright....I am not very happy that the very best baby lotion on the earth is not available anymore!! I don't understand!!! So I need your help. If any of you know where I can get the Baby Magic Original Baby lotion(Not soft baby scent) I will love you forever!! I cannot find any online except for on E-baby and they are selling them for like $30 a bottle! You can apparently get them somewhere because they are buying and selling them on E-bay so I have got to find them. I don't know if it is just a Utah thing and maybe they sell it in other states still or what. So if any of you find some I would love if you could snatch it up for me and I would gladly send some money plus a tip for the trouble!!! (Cheaper than $30 a bottle) I am running out of time and did not realize I could not just buy it at the store. I can not convince myself to put the Johnson and Johnson on my little guy because it is just not the same!

Happy Valentines Day!!!

I hope you all enjoyed your Valentines Day. I know I did!! Both my Sisters families were here and it was such a blast! We had a full house but it was a lot of fun. So much fun that I did not get any pictures. Bug had a soccer tournament in St. George so they just stayed here with us. She played awesome and they took first in the tournament. It is so much fun to watch her team play because they play so well together as a team for their age. So we spent all day Saturday and Monday watching her. Sunday we all just hung out at my house and played some Rock Band and watched movies. Shakiah brought her friend Whitney so we had a lot of fun!! Needless to say I have not done that much for a long time so Monday night I went to bed at like 8:00!!! Really unusual for me! I am so glad they came down and it was so fun to see them all. The only bad thing is they brought the Cache Valley weather with them so it was not very warm!! One of my best friends(Nicci) stopped by on Thursday on her way to St. George and it was so fun to see her, her hubby, and cute little Brin. I love her to death and look up to them both so much!!! They are great people and hope that she will be back to visit again when it is a little warmer. So my weekend was packed full of great visitors and fun times!! Thanks guys for coming down to visit. I love you all and miss you even more!!!
